Description
Tex Ritter, the singing-cowboy star of "B" westerns during the 30's and 40's and later country-music recording star, is perhaps best known for his rendition of "High Noon" for the 1952 motion-picture of the same name. Prior to that legendary Western classic, Ritter was the star and co-star of his own series of Cowboy Westerns and this ten disc set contains a total of 30 Westerns! Titles include: Enemy of the Law (1945), Dead or Alive (1944), Three in the Saddle (1945), Frontier Town (1937), Riders of the Frontier (1939), Song of the Gringo (1936), Roll, Wagons, Roll (1940), Riders of the Rockies (1937), Utah Trail (1938), Westbound Stage (1940), Trouble in Texas (1937), Pals of the Silver Sage (1940), Where the Buffalo Roam (1938), Riders of San Juaquin (1943), The Mystery of the Hooded Horseman (1938), The Whispering Skull (1937), Rolling Plains (1938), Headin' for the Rio grande (1937), Ridin' the Cherokee Trail (19141), Man From Texas (1936), Tex Ritter with the Boy Scouts (1937), Arizona Days (1937), Take Me Back to Oklahoma (1940), Sing, Cowboy, Sing (1937), and Rider of the Rockies (1937).
